Boys BOX Lacrosse (ALL BOX LAX GAMES ON 1/11 & 1/12 ARE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER)

Take the next step in your advancement as a lacrosse player by playing BOX LACROSSE this winter on one of our boy’s competitive youth BOX teams.  When other area players are packing it in for the winter, we are out there increasing our lacrosse IQ and fundamentals through advanced training and competitive play. We will be fielding 14U / 12U / 10U teams for the STL BOX LACROSSE LEAGUE

We realize that the winter season is a very busy time, but Lou Fusz expects our BOX players to be fully dedicated to the program they are committing to by attending as many practices as possible, and of course making all the games. By joining our winter BOX team, players and families make a commitment to the program, the team, the coaches, and the other players.

These legends of the field game have this to say about box lacrosse:

“If I had my choice, I would have every player under the age of 12 play box lacrosse exclusively or at least a majority of the time.  The number of touches of the ball and the ability to develop better stick skills in a game of box lacrosse far surpasses what happens on a field.”
-Bill Tierney, 6x NCAA DI Champion, Head Coach for University of Denver

“I knew that if I wanted to be one of the best players in the world, I would have to dedicate myself to both the indoor and the outdoor game. Playing indoor lacrosse has been a great thing for my career”
-Casey Powell, MLL/NLL All-Star

“When you watch Canadian kids score, when you see their skill level around the cage, you wonder to yourself, Jeez, are we teaching kids [in the U.S.] the wrong things?”
-Coach Dom Starsia, 4x NCAA Champion, Head coach for University of Virginia
